On January 10, 2025, Vietnam Airlines Caterers (VACS) organized the 2024 Year End Party - a special occasion to reflect on a year filled with challenges yet brimming with pride. The event gathered nearly 1,000 attendees, including the Board of Director, Board of Management, the entire VACS employees, and retired staffs, who have always remained connected and supportive through the company’s various stages of development.
The party was such an opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy delicious food and impressive performances. This is also a valuable and precious moment to reunite and summarize all the record-breaking milestones VACS have achieved in 2024. This year marked a strong and complete recovery for the aviation industry after the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing about significant growth in the in-flight catering sector.
Under the visionary leadership of Board of Management and the unwavering dedication of the entire VACS workforce, the company achieved remarkable success in 2024, exceeding expectations across all key metrics:
• Revenue: 1,116.529 billion VND, surpassing the annual target by 12% and 28% increase compared to 2023, also the highest revenue in history of development.
• Profit: 182.805 billion VND, exceeding the annual goal by 31% and achieving an impressive 52% growth over 2023.
• Meal Output: 10,268,598 meals, surpassing the planned target by 3% and reflecting a 10% year-on-year increase.
To achieve these remarkable accomplishments in 2024, VACS team worked continuously to maintain outstanding service quality for existing customers while actively expanding into new markets and reaching out to a broader client base. Some of the notable highlights in VACS's business operations include:
• Increase in Customers: The number of partners grew from 39 to 45, reaffirming VACS's appeal and reputation in the in-flight catering industry.
• Expansion in Phu Quoc International Airport: Successfully provide catering services for over 06 International airlines in Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), further establishing VACS's presence in this promising market.
• Mid-Autumn Mooncake Project Exceeded Targets: Produced 81,000 mooncakes, surpassing the target by 14%. This achievement not only demonstrates VACS's operational flexibility but also highlights the trust customers place in its high-quality products.
• Milestone at Long Thanh International Airport: With 31 years of experience and a leading position in the market, VACS won the bid to operate at Long Thanh International Airport, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the company's journey.

These improvements not only marked 2024 but will continue to be a focus in 2025, promising groundbreaking advancements.
As a pioneering enterprise adapting to the new era, VACS consistently integrates technology and digital transformation into management and operations. Modern platforms such as Office 365, the ERP system, KIOSK Viet, and the integration of QR codes under TCVN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and Halal standards have enhanced management efficiency and standardized operations. These advancements provide a solid foundation for VACS to confidently expand scale and achieve even greater goals in the future.
