VACS RESUMES CATERING SERVICE OPERATION IN PHU QUOC FROM 2023

Early November 2023, Vietnam Airlines Caterers - VACS resumes catering service operation in Phu Quoc International airport, providing meal services for International Charters to Phu Quoc island. This starts the peak time of winter flight season for international airlines, bringing international tourists to the Oriental pearl island for a vacation.
 

Early November 2023, Early days in November, VACS has been busy with preparation for two airlines that placed meal orders for catering services very tight to flight time: Polish Airlines from Poland and a new customer - Quanot Sharq Airlines from Uzbekistan.


With the experience from previous seasons, the operation plan had been meticulously discussed and carried out by various departments with concentrated discussions, even through the night.  The OPS team promptly travelled to work in Phu Quoc for duty, and catering trucks were swiftly transported to Phu Quoc by ferry. The Production department is working eagerly to make timeline plans for cooking, portioning, and preparing meal menus within specific time frames to ensure timely transportation to Phu Quoc International Airport on Vietnam Airlines flights while also ensuring food safety and hygiene requirements. In just a few days during weekend, VACS urgently completed the procedures to obtain operating permission from the Phu Quoc Airport Authority. Customer requirements are also regularly updated, all departments focus on preparation of meals and beverage with highest quality standard. All VACS teams have worked seamlessly and diligently to ensure that the first flights of Polish Airlines and Quanot Sharq Airlines on 07 November in Phu Quoc operates smoothly, safely, and satisfies customer requirements.
