JAPAN AIRLINES FUNCTION EVENT ON 22 AUG 2025
22/08/2025
Building on the success of last year’s Function Event, Japan Airlines (JAL) once again partnered with Vietnam Airlines Caterers (VACS) to organize another exclusive event in 2025 for the valued customers of Japan Airlines’ ticketing agents reaffirming their trust in VACS’s expertise in orchestrating the event and delivering exceptional cuisine.

On August 22, 2025, VACS had the great honor to welcome a delegation of 40 ticketing agents and 5 representatives from Japan Airlines’ Sales Department. The function was designed as an immersive experience, giving JAL ticketing agents a closer look at the inflight catering process, as well as a better understanding of the meal offerings and services currently provided onboard JAL flights across different classes, including Business and Economy.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu, VACS’s Executive Chef, introduced the actual inflight menus being served on JL750 and JL070 — two key routes operated by Japan Airlines. The menu introduction focused not only on the quality of the cuisine, but also on the meticulous attention to detail that goes into creating a meal experience that reflects the essence of Japanese hospitality and international airline standards.

The event concluded with a specially prepared buffet lunch, featuring the exact meals from JAL’s August 2025 menu. This allowed guests to enjoy firsthand the culinary quality and presentation that passengers experience in-flight.

This year’s event marked yet another successful milestone in the growing partnership between VACS and Japan Airlines. Vietnam Airlines Caterers remains committed to delivering exceptional inflight meals and continuously strengthening long-term collaborations through shared values and service excellence.
