On October 16, 2025, Vietnam Airlines Caterers (VACS) had the honor of hosting the Meal Presentation for Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) — the newly established airline under Sun Group. The event marked an important milestone in the preparation process ahead of Sun PhuQuoc Airways’ first commercial flight, scheduled for November 1, 2025.
During the session, VACS collaborated closely with the Sun PhuQuoc Airways specialists to present meals to develop the 6 menu cycles to diversified the inflight meals. These collaborative sessions of Meal Presentations play a vital role in translating a brand’s identity into meals that resonate with passengers. By engaging in hands-on tastings and visual presentations, both teams ensured that each dish met high standards for quality, consistency, and cultural relevance. The shared goal was to elevate the onboard culinary journey—so that every tray reflects not only technical excellence but also the signature elegance that Sun PhuQuoc Airways promises its guests.The goal of the event was to refine the inflight meal experience and ensure that every dish embodies the elegance and premium quality that Sun PhuQuoc Airways aims to deliver.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways, officially licensed in June 2025, is a new airline created by Sun Group with a vision to develop Phu Quoc into a regional international aviation hub. The carrier will begin operations with a modern fleet of Airbus A321NX aircraft, connecting the Phu Quoc Island with major destinations in Vietnam and across Asia.
