MEAL PRESENTATION FOR JAPAN AIRLINES FROM 16-18 JUNE 2026

18/06/2026
From 16 to 18 June 2026, Vietnam Airlines Caterers (VACS) successfully organized a Meal Presentation for Japan Airlines (JAL), aiming to introduce and evaluate new menu concepts, enhance service quality, and strengthen cooperation in airline catering services.

During the three-day program, VACS presented a variety of meal concepts for JAL flights JL070 and JL750, including:
  • Cycle C&D/2025 menus currently being provided;
  • Cycle C&D/2026 menus;
  • Proposed menus for Cycle C&D/2026.

Both Business and Economy Class services went under the same scrutiny — not just how a dish tastes, but whether it can be plated consistently, held at temperature, and served on schedule across hundreds of meals a day. Through detailed discussions and feedback exchange, VACS and JAL explored potential improvements and aligned on the requirements for future menu development.

It's a reminder that no meal reaches a passenger's tray by accident - every dish on this table has been tasted, timed, and re-tested until it can survive the realities of galley service at scale By combining culinary expertise with strict operational standards, VACS remains committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and consistent in-flight catering services.

For VACS and JAL, this wasn't just a Meal Presentation - it was a working session that will shape what passengers will be experincing on JAL flights well into 2026 and beyond.
